❗ Note: Today is strictly reserved for getting you to the frontier, checking in, and meeting your fellow riders. The bikes remain parked. The riding officially starts tomorrow.

• Transit to Ha Giang: We’ll arrange your pickup from major hubs including Hanoi, Ha Long, Sapa, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba, Noi Bai Airport, or Cao Bang, dropping you straight to our Loop Eco Stone House in Ha Giang
• Check-In & Settle: Upon arrival, your first night in our shared dorm is fully covered (private room upgrades upon request with a fee subject to availability).
• The Icebreaker: Head down to the poolside bar for a cold drink as the evening mountain mist settles over the valley.
• Meet the Crew & Crew Briefing: Connect with your fellow travelers and sit down with our local hosts for a casual Q&A and safety run-through to prep for the days ahead.

🚀 We built this day because we noticed travelers were arriving in Ha Giang tired and stressed after a long ride. Day 1 is where it all starts so by the time we start the engines on Day 2, you won't be riding with a bunch of quiet strangers - you’ll be hitting the road with a tight-knit crew of friends who already have your back.

Why this day is a MUST:

• Acclimatize: Get used to the altitude and the heat before the 1,000 hairpin turns begin.
• The Pool/ Bar Combo: No one else has it. Relax at our Heritage Hide while the others are stuck in noisy city hostels.

Morning:

• Bike Setup & Breakfast: Fuel up at basecamp while our team dials in your bicycle adjustments.
• The Zero Kilometer Landmark: Cycle through town, browse the bustling local market, and capture a photo at the historic KM0 stone - the ultimate starting point of the journey.
• River Paddling: Launch onto the calm, mirror-like valley waters for a scenic kayak ride (Subject to seasonal river levels).
• First Shared Feast: Pedal back to the homestay to share a hearty, family-style lunch with the crew.

Afternoon:

• Paddy Field Trails: Cruise along quiet countryside dirt roads, stopping at a hidden hillside café for a panoramic view of the city.
• Rice Field Fishing: Get your hands dirty. We’ll head into the flooded paddies to learn the ancient art of bamboo basket fishing. (Warning: It’s harder than it looks).
• Village Traditions: Visit an ethnic homestead to see how fresh tofu and the region's famous "happy water" are made.

Evening:

• Local Cooking Class: Get hands-on kitchen experience pounding traditional sticky rice cakes and rolling fresh vegetarian spring rolls.
• Golden Hour Swim: Grab a cold drink and unwind at our pool bar as the sun dips behind the karst peaks.
• Dinner & Team Games: Gather for a massive group dinner, followed by interactive, low-key games to solidify the team vibe before we hit the highway.

Overnight: Loop Eco Stone House Ha Giang.

The paved highway begins. Today we leave the city behind and climb into the dramatic, razor-sharp limestone gorges of the far north.

Morning:

• Safety Brief & Roll Out: Pack your gear, complete a final bike inspection, and throttle out into the mountains.

• The Giant Staircase: Warm up your tires on the sweeping, serpentine curves of Bac Sum Pass before climbing to the iconic Heaven's Gate viewpoint.

• Canyon Run & Weaving Cooperatives: Ride the deep Can Ty canyon walls down to Lung Tam, where H'Mong artisans transform raw hemp into intricately dyed traditional textiles.

• Highland Lunch: Stop for an authentic lunch in the mountain town of Yen Minh.

Afternoon:

• The Switchback Dual: Test your lines on the legendary, zigzagging slopes of Tham Ma and Chin Khoanh passes.
• The H'Mong Royalty Oasis: Step inside the century-old H'Mong King’s Palace, a stone-and-pine fortress blending French colonial, Chinese, and local architecture.
• Check-in Loop Eco Stone Dong Van followed by a relaxed poolside sunset session to stretch your legs.
• Sunset Party. Gather on the terrace as the karst peaks turn purple: chilled drinks, fresh mountain air, 10/10 lighting.

Evening:

• The Grand Dinner: Gather around the table for a rich, family-style dinner.
• Fire & Beats: Hang by the fireplace, join a traditional bamboo dance, and cap off the night with an epic karaoke session hidden deep inside our private stone cave!
  

Overnight: Loop Eco Stone House Dong Van

Today we tackle the undisputed crown jewel of Vietnamese roads and explore the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia.

Morning:

• Early-Rise Breakfast: Have breakfast and leave early to beat the heavy morning fog and stay well ahead of the massive tour buses on the pass.

• Ta Lung Caverns: Explore the wild, prehistoric karst rock formations and hidden chambers of the high plateau.

🌤️ Clear-Sky Bonus: If the weather behaves, we’ll take an exclusive, rugged mountainside track hidden from the tourist crowds for a truly panoramic view of the canyon.

• Ma Pi Leng Pass & Tu San Coffee: Ride the sheer cliffside Skywalk for jaw-dropping views, then stop for a coffee hanging directly over the impossibly deep Tu San Canyon and the emerald-green Nho Que River below.

• Midday Fuel: Stop in Meo Vac for a hearty lunch and recap the morning's epic ride.

Afternoon:

• The Hidden Bamboo Groves: Take a quiet detour through Meo Vac’s towering bamboo forest—a lush green oasis hidden in the gray stone.

• Highland Trails: Wind deeper into raw H'Mong territory, riding elevated ridges and visiting authentic frontier hamlets.

• Lung Phin Pass: Conquer the sharp elevation changes and dramatic limestone views of this rugged, winding pass.

Evening:

• Yen Minh Arrival: Check into our local homestay, wash off the highway dust, and kick back.

• The Frontier Feast: Skip the generic tourist buffets. Gather for an authentic family-style spread of bamboo-cooked seasoned pork, wild mountain greens, and warm broths.

• Starlit Pool Sessions: Jump into the mountain pool for a night swim, play some water volleyball, and enjoy great music with a premium, social crowd.

Overnight: Yen Minh Homestay

The final ride flips the script one more time. We trade hairpins for hidden valleys, a bamboo boat to a karst cave, and a roadside waterfall that's still off the maps. By the time you pull back into the Stone House, you'll have seen more of Ha Giang than most riders see in a week.

Morning:

• Morning Departure: Fuel up with breakfast, pack your gear, and ride out into the crisp, mist-filled valley air.

• Ban An Stream & Cave Plunge: Board traditional bamboo rafts to glide down a serene river straight into the mouth of the Tham Lin cave. Pack your swimwear—the crystal-clear spring water is ideal for a refresh. Enjoy lunch right by the water.

Afternoon:

• Duong Thuong Pine Forest: Cruise through the cool, fragrant shade of a towering, alpine pine forest on quiet, winding backroads.

• Thai An Lookout: Navigate the massive, sweeping curves of Thai An, stopping at our favorite lookout point for a dramatic view of the deep valley gorges snaking below.

• Lung Pu Falls: Make a final splash at the cascading Lung Pu Waterfalls for a swim and a few epic team photos.
